Big Save Daves attempt at scoring was awesome. If that goes in I can imagine the chatter in the dressing room. 'Well you bottom 6, that's how it's done!' This guy is becoming quite the character.

The attempt on goal was poorly timed (with a two goal cushion, sure-- go for it) and not really close to happening, but I appreciate the confidence he has.
He looked pretty steady, and it was a shame that they got the one goal past him.

Well as they say practice makes perfect and with all the practice our pk has had so far this season, I’m not surprised that they did an amazing job against a lethal pp unit...with all that said most of our penalties are the results of not moving their feet or simple nonsense penalties...but once they can start cleaning that crap up our 5 on 5 skilled play will really take over making a lot of games going under the W column!!!

I agree Brodie looks like poop.
His skating used to be one of his strongest parts of his game. Now it looks like he doesn’t care, or he just lets people beat him to the puck all the time. Even when he’s got a step or two on them, he’s getting muscled out of the way and losing the puck.

Agreed, but there's also been a bit of a philosophy change around icings and in zone faceoffs in recent years... Less concerned that he iced the puck and more concerned that he couldn't count on his guys to win a draw and get the puck out. Either way, if he covered that puck, the faceoff was in the same spot.
